SUBANPAONUADO FOUNDATION ELECTRONIC VOTING SYSTEM REPORT ( POLLS )

The SPF electronic voting begun on the 28th of September 2024, 5: 00 pm and ends on the 10th October 2024, 3: 30 am.

Report from the SPF electronic voting system reported a total number of 28,137 people participated in the poll. However, the SPF electronic voting system accounted for only a total of 27,435 votes as a valid votes cast with a rejected votes of 702. 

       Analysis and the basis of rejected votes 

- Multiple voting: 401 of the respondents used the same IMEI numbers to cast their votes on what'sapp, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and websites. 

- Multiple usage of IP addresses : 107 of the respondents used the same IP address to cast their votes on what'sapp and used same details to cast additional votes on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and websites. 

- Multiple usage of one telephone number on separate phones : 104 of the respondents used the telephone numbers for their voting on separate phones.

- voting from an unknown location: 90 of the respondents switched off their locations while casting their votes on the system. 

              Summary of the rejected votes

- Out of the total number of the rejected votes , 426 votes were in favour of the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, whiles 276 were in favour of the NDC presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.

Moreover, the SPF electronic votting system did not record any votes from the Brong Ahafo region. 

Based on this information, the SPF electronic voting system projected the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as the preferred candidate for the 2024 presidential election in ghana
